Thomas is an award-winning real estate developer and has over 15 years’ experience as a Director of Senior Care. As the founder, Thomas enjoys managing a team that is committed to recovering funds and making a lasting impact in the company’s clientele. Thomas oversees the Processing Department and coordinates with our 3rd party local attorneys to complete our clients’ files.
Cher Xie Hilgardner
Office Manager
Cher Xie has 10+ years of administrative and project management experience. As the office manager, Cher Xie oversees the operations and procedures in the head office of Nationwide Fund Recovery. She also manages the accounting and finances of the firm.
Chris Abke
Client Relations Manager
Chris brings more than 15 years of experience in donor and client communications to Nationwide Fund Recovery, along with decades of local pastoral ministry which continues on in various expressions. All of this experience reflects a passion to make a genuine difference in the lives of others — a passion now reflected in his role as Client Relations Manager.
Aileen Forbes
Outreach Manager
Aileen has several years of experience in sales/marketing, Life Insurance, and financial aid. In her role as an outreach manager, Aileen provides guidance and training to the outreach team and connects with clients to start the process of recovering funds. Being able to help the individuals and families she reaches out to is enjoyable for her and she is grateful to be of service.

René brings over 28 years of experience in civil litigation, having worked alongside the same attorney throughout her career. She has deep expertise in legal procedures, case preparation, and document management, ensuring each file is handled with precision and care.
René supports case coordination and client communication, helping guide clients through the process with clarity and confidence.
Justin Ovalle
Data Platform Chief Engineer
Justin has lengthy experience in data processing and software management. He oversees the data platform for Nationwide Fund Recovery and develops automations for data handling and client support.
Teryn Tyson
Outreach Representative
Teryn had extensive administrative and customer service experience. As the outreach representative, Teryn is responsible for reaching out to clients to engage them in our fund recovery services. Teryn has a passion for marriage ministry and is a dedicated volunteer for her local ministries.
